I'm not perfectly happy with the script; it's a little shaky in places. I was using a dip pen (which I'm getting more comfortable with and definitely like better than both the markers and the fountain pens) but am not used to writing as large as I did on this piece, and am using a jury rigged writing board, so ... yeah. I'd like to do better. And will, with practice.
I'm planning on going to TAP plastics in a few weeks and getting a nice big chunk of plexi to use as a writing board instead of the leftover bit of shelving I'm currently using (I think it's an extra shelf from my entertainment center... yay, packrat me...). That should, supposedly, let me go back to using guidelines shone through instead of penciled on. I just don't like the way they look, penciled on. I'm also considering finding a way to use impressed lines instead of penciled ones (basically you lightly score the paper instead of making a pencil mark). We'll see how that goes. I'm hoping the Scribes at the Scriptorium will have some good suggestions.. I expect they will

really a good inspiration...
Best of Luck
